Buddy Walk Buffalo Niagara Registration Place: In the Heart of The Historic Village of Lewiston, NY. SEPTEMBER 8, 2012!! Registration: Sign in and T-shirt pick up from 9:30-10:30am, note registration will close at 10:30! Front lawn of Historic Village Lewiston Offices at 145 North 4th St. Lewiston, NY 14092 We will march in the Lewiston Peach Festival Parade promptly at 11AM , free pizza lunch under tent and free rides tickets!! The event is being coordinated by The Family & Friends Down Syndrome Association of Niagara, Inc. to help raise positive public awareness and promote community wide acceptance, value, and inclusion for families and children with Down syndrome. We support and uphold all national and local advocacy organizations who advocate for people with Down syndrome and remain the only Affiliate Organization and Licensed Buddy Walk of The National Down Syndrome Society in Niagara County. | Each Fall, Monarch butterflies in Maine begin an unbelievable journey to a hilltop in Mexico. How do they do it? They focus on the goal, not the difficulties. Each day they take their bearings and set off lead by natural instinct and desire. They accept what comes: some winds blow them off course, others speed them along. They keep flying until one day, they arrive! Please join our children and families who celebrate their personal journey in our Buddy Walk of Buffalo Niagara.
